I'm still not really sure what a metropolitan is, but this is where the metropolitans used to live that took care of the cathedral, I guess. Or maybe they are like bishops in the Catholic church. I'm not really sure . . . All I know is they were kind of a high ranking person and we saw where they lived. The tour guide didn't follow us to this building, so we never really got an explanation for this one haha : )
