Timothy 2

Timothy also loves taking pictures! At first he was mad because I was taking someone else's picture and then when he knew I was taking his picture, he started smiling a little, but then he was wanted to make his scary and mad faces again, even though he was actually mad or yelling.

This is at snack time. Timothy also loves making crazy faces and then seeing all the pictures of himself. It is very funny to me!

Sophia

Sophia loooves taking pictures! She saw me on my laptop after she finished snack time and really wanted to take pictures together - it was very cute!

Dnipro

On a Sunday a couple weeks ago, we decided to explore a couple of the metro stops that we had never been to before. This one is Dnipro, it has that name because the Dnipro River is right under the bridge where the stop is. Dnipro is one of the very few stops I've been to that is above ground. (I think I've only been to one or two other ones that aren't underground.) And the huge white area of snow is the river, so it's actually huge! And there were lots of people ice fishing on it. We also saw some cool statues, but I could only see the back of them.

A Typical Lunch

I feel guilty when I don't eat the food, so sometimes I cut it up and spread it around so that it looks like I ate some, even though I didn't eat very much of it. I also do it for Mallory when she has a hard time eating something. This was Mallory's plate of fish and on this particular day, she didn't eat even one bite, but it's the same fish as the first picture : )

We have this Ukrainian bread every single day. It's always just sitting out on the table for us.

We also always have this caldron of borsch every lunch.

This a very typical cafeteria lunch. Fish is not my favorite, especially when it looks like it came straight from the river, scales, bones, and all.
